Home from the Road Trip

Just returned home from the "Road Trip" to deliver the 2 puppy girls to their new owners in PA.  Dillon's Livewire (Pink Ribbon) will be moving to Maine with her new owners in May of 2012.
I never get tired of seeing the joyous expression the first time they see their new puppy.  Brings tears to my eyes every time.  All of the puppies from Cobby X Sheeba are in wonderful homes.  I know Marie is pleased as she watches over them from above.
The year 2011 is coming to an end in a few hours.  I want to thank everybody who has opened their hearts and homes to a new puppy this year.  I truly am blessed.

Happy New Year!

Road Trip

Road Trip -
Personal Puppy Delivery to PA.  Dillon's Livewire and Dillon's High Life are starting their journey to their new homes in PA.  We leave Thursday morning, meet the new owners Friday noon, head back south that same day.  Cobby will be riding shotgun.  I rarely travel alone.  The thing that counts most in pursuit of happiness is choosing the right traveling companion.

I'm looking forward to the Sawyer  X  Wiley litter.

Crate Training Puppies

Ear cropping is done.  Now crate training begins.  They are separated so they don't scratch and lick each other.  Yes, they put up a fuss at first but the wailing stops in about 15 minutes.

Cobby X Sheeba puppies having a playday on the porch

The pups have a play day out on the porch.  This is important in their development.  They learn to walk on different surfacs and navigate the steps.  We are fortunate to have good weather this time of year so they can take advantage of fresh air and sunshine.  In this video they are 7.5 weeks old.  The boys are about 14 pounds.  The two girls are about 9 pounds.

The Cobby X Sheeba Litter Moves to Ashville

On Friday December 2nd I brought the Cobby X Sheeba puppies home to Ashville.  After the ride home and a little outside exercise everybody had a little bath and got dressed in new ribbons.  They are 6 weeks and 2 days old in this video.  They are settling in very well with their grandmother Cory, father Cobby, aunt Wiley, and cousin Josey.  These are 4 of the boys.
